Session 4:The Road to Rodia

Hailey whispers to Boris, through the com-link if not sitting together. "You should write to her at least once a year. That's how I keep my family off my back."

"Wait people actually do that?"
Boris whispers/messages back
"I thought that was only in novels."

Return whisper. "It works, though if my family doesn't hear from me after a month, they start wondering what happened."

*Out loud again,* "Thank you for the exquisite dinner, Matron." Hailey wipes a finger across her plate and licks it. "I never thought meiloorun pudding could be so... heavenly."

As people check the time it has been 4 hours since they came in.

"Your Welcome please make sure my nephew writes me more often. I look forward to the next visit from the Æther Skiff's Crew and passengers."

On the way back to the ship, Jowmum spots a small credit on the ground. He calls out to the closest of his crew mates.

Hailey, come look at this!

Hailey stops and turns around to look at the ground. "So? It's a 2 credit piece."

Hailey picks it up, pockets it, and continues walking to the ship.

HEY!

Jowmum grumbles a little and continues to the ship.

Jowmum and Hailey are boarding the ship.

My hat would have fallen off and I didn't want to have to lose that.

*goes up to the cockpit to upload hyperspace calculations.*

Hailey rolls her eyes and proceeds to help with the pre-flight checks.

Boris grins as he watches the two trouble makers board.
"Well, it looks like we should get where we are going. Captain I have some information for you."

Jowmum dispenses the information Boris was referring to to Tali.

*plugs into the cockpit computer port and starts uploading calculations*

Tali, do you want to check my work? Just in case? It is a long jump after all.

Jowmum brings up his Hyperspace route on the screen.

I was able to factor in a few small shortcuts that only open on a yearly basis. If we leave within five minutes, we will just be able to make this one two hours before it closes due to a planet getting in the way. We would loose an extra hour.

There is a ping on the map between two thirds and three quarters along the route.

With nobody shooting at them, the ship has no trouble taking off, clearing the atmosphere, and entering Hyperspace.

Congratulations everyone on a perfect takeoff.

This jump will take a couple days, I'm gonna get some sleep. I should be up before we leave hyperspace.
Tali gets up from the pilots seat, flicking the autopilot switch on, and heads to the cabins.
