Session 4:The Road to Rodia

Jowmum speaks up.

I heard some droids in the Galactic Center talking about how good Self Stealing Stembolts were for the joints. I wasn't able to track any down before we left about a day later. You don't happen to know of anywhere I can get one to try do you?

"Not at all, Matron! If you suggest your own home cooking, by all means! Home cooked meals are my favorites!" A moment later, Hailey gives JM a wonderfully weird look. "What are self-stealing stembolts?"

*Briefly rolls her eyes.* "Doesn't sound like something I'd invest in, that's for sure."

Boris sighs
"Ignore Jowmum. Self-seal stem-bolts can wait we have a couple appointments first but thank you for the food. Jowmum we have to get you checked out."

The Matron replies.
"Don't stay out to late you don't want your food to get cold."
She smiles pleasantly.

To Hailey's question about cosmetics...Depends how you feel about green foundation...

To Matron's invitation of hospitality...*A little drool*Ooo, I can't wait to taste what you've cooked up. It's been nothing but seasoned rations for a week now.

To JM...Self-"stealing" stem bolts don't exist, you obviously misheard. Self-sealing stem bolts are what are keeping your pnuematics in place.

"Come and eat now, then you can have time to explore the city."
The Matron responds

"Don't. Get supplies then meet at her house otherwise she will trick us into spending the week. The Cargo should be here in half an hour. I am going to attend to some business. Jowmum lets go"
Boris heads off to find an information broker.

*Turns head around while keeping pace with Boris*

Food now, supplies later. That way we will have an excuse to leave on time. Boris and I will join you soon enough. I think.

*Eye front*

"Thanks, JM. You guys go on, we'll catch up with you later." *Turns to Boris's Aunt.* "Lead the way, Matron. I can't wait to taste your delicious banquet."

"Supplies now so that the shops don't close while we are eating."
Boris corrects Jowmum.

Upon receiving the semi-urgent update from Boris after they parted ways, Tali and Hailey give the Matron a special request for dessert, then head off together to find something better than dehydrated carrot sauce and spaghetti as rations.

The Matron looks hurt

Boris find an information broker and asked two pieces of information.
One what could they tell Jowmum and him about the virus.
Two what could they tell them about the men chasing the archaeologist.

Jowmum recognizes the voice of the dealer as someone his former master used to do business with on occasion. Knowing this, Jowmum is able to bring up some particularly juicy/dangerous information his former master was contracted to gather shortly before his ship was attacked and destroyed by pirates.

I've been looking for this data for years! In fact, the last time I tried to get my hands on it, the scoundrel took a quarter of the payment in advance and vanished without a trace. I'd pay a small bounty if anyone knew what corner of the galaxy he went off to. Where did you come across this information?

Assorted dry pasta
Assorted hot cereal mix
Water
1 large bottle of juice
Bread
Assorted nuts
Assorted meats
Butter
Milk
2 Medium sized bins of fresh produce

Hailey turns to the fruit seller. "Are you sure these meilooruns were picked yesterday? Because the ones in that lady's stall over there look fresher, and she says she picked them two days ago."

The fruit seller slaps Hailey's hands away from the bit of meilooruns. "My melilooruns are far fresher than hers! You'll not find a fresher meiloorun anywhere in the galaxy unless you get your lazy rump out to the fields and pick it yourself!"

A Bothan with a fright hauler brings several crates of miscellaneous gadgets and tools along with some packaged calibration equipment to Æther Skiff.
