Session 11: 10 Days of Hyperspace Empty Session 11: 10 Days of Hyperspace

To review:


  1. Hailey and Boris talked with the miners about the mine and about possibly stiffing the Hutt. They gave the miners 7000 each to start a casino on Nar Shadaa.
  2. The Miners bolted at the first opportunity. They wished us luck, but Ishwarr's goodbye hastened their departure.
  3. Tali and Boris delivered the story and most of the Hutt's money. He offered us 10%, but it came with further employment, and they politely refused. We divided the surplus.
  4. Tali and Boris got supplies for the next hyperjump all while everyone else stayed on the ship for various reasons.
  5. Jowmum installed a program to prevent unwanted computer access while the ship is locked and unattended. Cat pictures for those that dare challenge our cyber security!

We reach orbit and casually do the calculations and jump to hyperspace. With no living passengers, the crew is a bit more at ease than they have been since arriving at the mine. Jowmum saunters over to the Djarik table and challenges anyone to a game.

I'm open to a mini-tournament if anyone else is.

Since we were planning on several days in hyperspace, and Hailey has recently brought up the importance of appropriate attire for the formal situations we occasionally find ourselves in, I made the mistake of purchasing Twi'leki fashion catalogs.

GAAAHHHH! Why does the galaxy have Twi'lek women boxed into the over-exposed dancer role? Sure, our natural flexibility gives us an advantage at the art, but is there ONE outfit in the bloody Holonet that covers the stomach? Not all of us like black leather tights damn it!

Further insults directed towards the fashion industry stream from her room the rest of the afternoon.

Hailey sits on the lower bunk with her. "I like your face. You don't have to wear any stupid hats unless you want to. I still rather like the one that goes with your tan suit." Hailey remembers back to when she found it.

Hailey and Tali wrote:

The main color is a warm, pleasing shade of tan. There are straight, simple slits up the sleeves and pant legs, showing a much earthier color underneath. There are many faint details including embroidery around the neck and cuffs that resemble flowers, some of which remind Tali of the flowers at home. "Look, you can wear your boots with it, it has pockets, and I even found a Twi'lek head dress that goes perfectly with it. It's like this was made for you!"

The Rylian flowers bring a tear to my eye.
I love it! I haven't looked at these flowers since I last saw my mom.
Maybe I can find her, now that I have a ship and a crew, though we need to settle our own needs before persuing personal wants.
I don't even need to try this one, but I want to!

"Boris, don't go yet. Would you reach that box at the top of our dear captain's closet hole?" Hailey points to the two stacked holes in the wall where room residents are meant to store their belongings... she blushes slightly upon noticing that Tali has already started re-expanding into both holes again.

Well I suppose combat gear is less revealing, but I still don't want leather pants, so squeaky. I kinda like that scarf on the second model.

An as Ishwarr sticks his head in the lift, Jowmum blips a little binary then finishes going down. He is out of the lift by the time Ishwarr has his shoulders stuck. Jowmum rolls over to the side and uses his internal comm. (They are working again.)

Ishwarr tried to follow me down elevator. He didn't fit.
