You're right, I'm sorry Jowmum. We've all got goals, I shouldn't have teased you about yours.
She stands up and addresses the group, hands spread on the table as if holding some imaginary scroll open.
It's about time we all lay out what our goals, plans, dreams, other buzzwords, are. Jowmum's made it clear he's looking for his lost origins. I've got a large debt to pay off while exploring the cosmos. Hailey and Boris are both running from something or someone, thought Boris tries to act casual about it, JM's probably running from someone too since he's palling about with Boris.

You know, I've been thinking, I don't like how my name has been shortened lately. Now, if we are looking to not attract attention, that is fine, but shortening it makes me feel like you are talking to a more mundane droid.

I know you're designator, it's nothing close to JM. I only shorten yours cause Jowmum doesn't roll off my tongue very well, same as I would do any of my friends. I don't ask any of you to call me Talik'Vrei, that'd actually be insulting, the professor hasn't complained yet that none of us seem to have bothered to learn his name. But I'll call you "Jowmum" if you wish.
She purposefully draws out the name to make it sound laborious to say.

I still strongly prefer my name be spoken unaltered. Still, if we are going through anywhere we don't want to attract attention, I can leave my hat in the ship/on Boris and disguise myself as a regular droid. Then you all can call me JM and I would even encourage it at that point.
