Session 7: Anyone here speak furball?

Jowmum basically found the "cheat code" for the mission so to speak...
The ship took some damage in a space battle, but Jowmum was able to fix it...
And you now have a huge wookie on board your ship, that is prone to fits of rage. And is probably a pirate.
Boris is attempting to talk to it. It has been restrained with handcuffs and the calming effects of the force....

Not to mention thath the party nearly got blown out into the cold, hard, vacuum of space...
Or that said wookie FLIPPED the flaming wreck of his ship on top of several knights of humanity's glory...

After a short hyperspace jump to a patch of empty space,

Well, I might as well inspect the exterior damage.

*quietly, to Boris*

*exits the ship to begin repairs*

[[Since James doesn't have regular access to a computer, we might want to say the wookie is still unconscious... Or sleeping... Not sure how I'm going to be able to integrate him into forum RP...]]

Hailey pokes her head into the cargo bay, where the wookie is sleeping it off, on her way to reload the turret. "Man, he sure is ugly." She briefly holds up her thumb. "Maybe he's only eleven feet tall, but don't ask me to measure him up." Hailey specifically turns to Boris. "Did I ever tell you how stupidly brave you are?"

Escaping the Battlefield:

I take a few deep breaths and unwrap my knuckles from the helm.
I head to the bathroom to compose myself, and work up the courage to go inspect the Wookie.
As I reach the hold, I immediately turn around at the sight of an over-sized wookie, stunned or not, and go back upstairs.

Jow-Mum, you may not believe this, but there is a giant pile of fur lying unconscious in the corner of the cargo hold. I think Boris was poking it with a stick and writing down his observations. How's the hull looking?

"No, but I have found do to repeated exposure that the closer I am to danger the further from harm I am. It neither a matter of bravery of irrationality. I prefure to be hit by his hands than his blaster."
Boris frowns.
"Why can't I ever just walk in interview and walk out. But no I have to have all kinds of randomness happen where ever I go. And generally it is not my fault. When I do stupid and reckless things the universe rewards me with brief respites of fortune. The odds are absolutely horrendous for the amount of stupid bravado I have had to display to survive."

Jow, you've been... uncharacteristically quiet. Why's the Empire jumping here?

Hailey pulls Tali's arm close so she can also talk to Jowmum. "Do you know something we don't?"

Spoiler:

"Hmmm... Maybe he left his comlink inside? Boris, would you send him a message? I'm going to go get this thing where it's supposed to be."

Jowmum comes in from inspecting the damage. After wiping off his treads, he asks,

Did anyone hear any of my live damage reports?

"Did you forget that sound is not transmitted in vacuum?"
Boris says wryly.
Boris starts going through the personal effects of the wookie stowaway for clues about his identity, motivation, and origin.

"No it does not. There is a slight air gap. It may touch but it is not connected in the electrical sense."
Boris hesitates.
"By the way do you know the reason the Empire just hypered in? And Yes I am dying to know what fate the universe has blessed us with this time in addition to a witless wookie"

"Wait, what?" Hailey calls from the blaster nest, possibly sounding slightly disappointed. "You did it all? Without us?"

"That statement requires some elaboration. I mean did you sweet talk the computer and ask it to disable the hyperdrive or jettison the fuel?"
Boris asks sarcasticly.

Hailey pauses her reloading job to come back and look Jowmum in the lens. "Now that's truly impressive. I only wish you would have included the rest of us somehow."

"WHAT!?!"
Boris yells.
"One we don't know anything about him.
Two he threw an entire ship after asking for directions.
Three what is with you and plans that are going to get us killed?
Four He wasn't with the knights of humanity.
Five good job on completing the mission."

I smile,
I'm happy that we're getting along, and a little closer to owning this ship free and clear. I can't wait to travel the stars on my own agenda.

With, Jow's repairs to the nav computer finished, I return to the console to begin reversing the last jump.
So, you think enough time has passed for the fleet to subjugate the cult?
