Session 10: Back to Nar Shadda

"Where is home?"
Boris asks cautiously.
"Why do feel the need to ask that? Is it dangerous?"

Jowmum a little out of his trance like state. He addressees Hailey.

Wait, did Ishwarr just go to get the book you are holding?

"Book? Which one?"
Boris asks puzzled.

"This one," Hailey passes him the dictionary. "Wookie to Basic and back again. It looks like a royal pain to read, and you almost have to read it out loud to get anything right, but I think it's worth it that I learn a bit better Wookie than the occasional word or phrase. This morning, I thought Ishwarr told me you were making lemon-aid when he was really asking for help looking for you."

"Are you sure you do not want my translator bracelet."
Boris ask curiously.

(ishwarr comes running back to the kitchen ) "hey hailey i have the candy bar "

Hailey accepts the candy bar as Boris serves dessert. "The less I must rely on gizmos and gadgets, the better able I can care of myself when fate decides to dump me figuratively naked in a hostile environment. For example, just before we met."

"I am using it to learn languages and cultures more quickly and to quiz myself. And I was only offering it to you so that you could understand him."
Boris snickers
"I want back as soon as you are done talking. You should get your own and learn other languages."

"Are you planning on something like that?"
Boris eyes narrow.
"That sound like an suspiciously specific scenario. If you have any grudges against you, I would like to know about them before we head into.... Kinda like I probably should have more detail about the Zahn having a bounty on my head. Not that they have been a really threat more just an annoyance."

"Ah I have no desire to start anything. I should have no relatives there that I need to rescue... so I should be fine unless they start something... Given my luck someone will Taunt the Wookie and while I am trying to keep things calm someone else will pour fuel on the fire getting us all dragged into a massive brawl which we will emerge victorious but with many hunters coming after us."
Boris says with an odd detached tone to his voice.
"We should teach the wookie how to not to react with violence to insults. I should not always be so pessimistic."

OOC: Everyone is still in the kitchen, eating dessert. I wish Jacob/Tali could post more often, (something about crayon molds). We are discussing what we'll do after we're done at Nar Shadda. I believe the current plan is as follows:

1. Finish getting the Hutts off our backs
2. Deliver the Holocron to the old Jedi's friend on Mon Calamari
3. Now it looks like Tali's going to take us to her home world for a visit, probably similar to our visit with Boris's aunt (an adventure which took place entirely on the forum, if you can find it.)
