Session 10: Back to Nar Shadda

1. Rescued 2 surviving miners (GM's edit. Leave it be please. Not sure where 3 came from)
2. Recovered and memorialized everyone else
3. Miners book passage out of here
4. Ishwarr and miners pick fight
5. Boris and Hailey help defuse it
6. Hailey moves in with Tali
7. Miners and Ishwarr locked in separate rooms while tempers cool

*After locking the Wookie in his room* "Tali, do you have any acetone? I promised Ishwarr I'd help him remove the ducttape."

I use a grease marker on the kitchen table as an impromptu whiteboard.
Bargos isn't going to like hearing that the mine is out of commission. There was a little 160,000 in that safe, so even if we gave Bargos the 100k he asked for, maybe a little fib that we had to add our own pocket change to give it that nice round number. We could give each of the survivors 15k to help them find new work, that would still leave us a heck of a payday.
I draw a long slash to separate the board.
On the other hand, we keep it all, pay a huge chunk off the Æther Skiff, buy the accompanying shuttle, and dodge the Hutts forever.

As for Acetone, check the flammables cabinet for paint thinner, should be close enough.

a foul odor spreads through the ship. like a plugged up  toilet full of poop it can be smelt in all rooms that have a vent. uncertain growling is heard from the wookie's room the growls are cut off by throaty gurgling noise

"Thanks. I'll be right back." Hailey leaves for the crew quarters. "Ishwarr, if you're making a mess in there, you're the only one who's going to clean it up on pain of sleeping in the cargo bay! And I'm not coming in there until the air scrubbers have had a chance to clean it up, so if you want that ducttape off of you any time soon, you'd better find a way to stop that smell. You should have told me if you needed the bathroom."

"Honestly, I am all for not running from Hutts."
Boris replies stroking his beard
"I will admit having the shuttle will make many jobs much easier. But with this handy dandy datapad I should be able to round up some cargo for us to transport."
Boris waves his merchi comp.

Hailey comes back to the kitchen. "I'm going to tell you right now: dodging the Hutts for the rest of your abbreviated life is not something you want to do, and for your own good I'm not going to let you do it."

"While I agree with your sentiment, I am curious why you think leaving a wookie tied up is a good plan. While I go release the wookie why don't you tell us about your family member who crossed the Hutts."
Boris takes supplies and a gas mask to go clean up the Ishwaar.
"Oh, and Jowmum could you make sure there is still some popcorn when i get back?"

Hailey hands him the paint thinner.

Sure thing.

While nobody is looking, Jowmum grabs a bowel of popcorn and hides it in a spare slot, spilling a few pieces in the process.

Yeah, I prefer the honest method. Get the Hutts off our backs, make sure it's explained in a way that can't be twisted into it being our fault the mine is down. We did what we could to salvage what was left.
With Ishvaar's vomit odor in the air, I remember about a certain Gand carcass we were supposed to space.
Hey Boris, I think we're far enough away that he won't immediately turn into a meteor.

Boris works on getting Ishwaar cleaned up.

Ishwarr's fur is a mess. It has several burned and scorched areas from fire, grease from the oil bath, sticky duct tape remnants, patches where clumps of hair were pulled out from Ishwarr's struggle against said tape, and to top it off, there are areas now covered in fecal matter and/or vomit. He clearly looks and smells like something that belongs in a garbage compactor...

(Also, while it may be effective at getting off the duct tape, I'd think SOMEONE would realize that prolonged exposure to acetone could cause chemical burns on the wookie, and cause even more hair to fall out...)

"Destiny Point!"

While everyone else is off doing whatever cleanup activity, Jowmum decides to do a survey of the junk orbiting the planet. Boris calls out from the bathroom where he is dealing with freshly degunked fur.

"Where is the shampoo? I could use the next bottle in here."

It's in the cabinet by the sink.

"Have you ever bathed a Wookie before? I've already depleted the five little bottles you were keeping under there."

Just at that moment, Jowmum detects a large crate of hair products on a collision course with the ship. Let's see, ... point of impact is the CARGO BAY DOOR! He goes down to the cargo bay and makes the appropriate preparations to let it in.

Heads up everyone!

There are some loud noises in the lower deck as Jowmum brings on some unregistered cargo. He comes up to the bathroom where Boris is still frantically looking for something to get the acetone out of Ishwarr's fur.

Have you checked the cargo bay? There is a whole crate of hair products.

[Uh... Destiny points don't typically come into play in the forums and that's almost too over the top to be under the capabilities of a destiny point. But you get an A+ for creativity.. Also, I'm not sure the refresher on board is even big enough to accommodate Ishwarr, let alone an assistant...]

Explination for the supplies:

Hailey comes down to, and re-pressurizes the cargo bay before inspecting the supplies. "Well, at least you thought to save our air. We only have so much, you know." A minute later the light turns green and she opens the door. The large crate of hair products was expertly plopped right in the middle of the room, even if it landed upside down when JM re-engaged the gravity plates. Hailey calls Tali, and the two of them set to work righting the crate, then opening it and taking inventory. Tali even finds a packing list just inside the lid.

"Shampoo... for soft hair, for dry hair, for greasy hair... They have an entire shampoo brand just for Wookies?" She pulls out a total of ten gallons of the stuff, finding the same claim on every jug: That up to four full washes come in a bottle and that you won't need another bath for at least six months. Hailey gives a cringe that only Tali saw.

"I am glad you have so much shampoo. I was afraid I would need to use cooking oil."
Boris says as he is using and breaking his hair brush on the Wookie.
"Hailey you owe me a new hair brush. Next time you need to tie up some hair race please use Zip ties."

when u entered ishwarr's room before u started cleaning him u noticed a foul smell coming from the air vents and saw a pile of ishwarr's handy work [poop] iswarr thinks to him self [i wonder if they noticed the air vents]
