Session 10: Back to Nar Shadda

Boris trudges off to bed extremely tired from the shenanigans he has dealt with today.

The next morning, at about 5 am, Hailey goes down to where JM is sleeping charging, and knocks on his dome to wake him up. "How does your programing feel about subterfuge for the purposes of entertainment?"

Jowmum puts out an imaginary fire on Hailey's chest.

You mean like that?

His voice sounds groggy.

Furious, Hailey manages to brush off the fire retardant without shouting at him. "No, not that kind of prank. I'm thinking something clean, harmless, and easy to undo once we've had our fun. I was thinking something more along the lines of dressing all the Dejarik pieces in frilly outfits instead of armor, and making them hold instruments instead of weapons. Can you do that?"

ishwarr is board and decides to walk around and discovers the dejarik room and decides to play a game

After bringing a few more systems online, Jowmum's voice now only sounds sleepy.

I was thinking more along the lines of giving them a chance to up and decide not to move in favor of quoting some children's poetry? I already did that around midnight.

About this time, we hear a nursery rhyme being recited to Ishwarr at the top of the pieces lungs, piped through the comm system.

Hailey quietly looks around the corner of the rec room and sees Ishwarr. She whispers so that only JM can hear, "Now what if they all start dancing whenever they're meant to fight?"

ishwarr sees hailey peek around the corner ishwarr gets up to see what she is doing

Jowmum goes back into sleep mode.

Hailey turns to face Ishwarr when he comes. "Good Morning. Up so early?"

ishwarr gives hailey a light bear huge and says in wookie never use ducktape again please ever...

Sensing Ishwar isn't in a scary mood, Jowmum comes out of "sleep" mode and translates,

He says to never ever use ducktape [sic] again.

"No problem," Hailey wiggles out of his light grasp. "I do believe I warned you; and I'm sorry. If it makes you feel better, my aunt used to always do it to me and Ami whenever we got into fights, so I know..." *takes a moment to realize all that hair* "I have an idea on what it feels like. And I never got any help with it. I always had to take it off myself."

I see these apologies as I make my way to the bunks from the cockpit.
Well that was entertaining, I need to get back to bed for a couple hours, I've been up all night checking the charts to make sure we're not drifting. Hailey, you take over.
These multi-day jumps really take it outta me.

"I thought I told you to take a three hour break; Nar Shadda isn't that far off the beaten path." Hailey sighs and follows Tali back upstairs to the bunks, grabs a book, and sits in the co-pilot's seat. She does take a minute to check the charts before reading.

When Boris wakes up he Starts checking the merchant data for goods heading from Nar Shadda to Mon Calimari and well out of Hutt space.

I'm out as soon as my head hits the pillow.
Dreams of pod racing start filling my head.

Knowing it was a rough night for some of the crew, Jowmum is [trying] to make pancakes for everyone who wants them the next morning. A quarter of the pancakes are half burned on one side, and the second half to go in are a bit on the SALTy side.

After a couple hours of reading, another minute to check the charts again (just to tell Tali that she had), Hailey searches until she finds Boris and Ishwarr engaged in a Dejarik game. "Did you know that the Jedi Order used to have droids specially designed to clear their dishes after the... What's that smell?"

A message comes over the comm.

Breakfast!

Boris just gets coffee

ishwarr smells the food runs in at full speed and slips into the wall he gets up dizzied and trys to open the door to the fridge and falls over unconscious [ishwarr dreams of back home with his parents]
