The beauty is mostly in the background. Believe it or not, it can sometimes be a small miracle when an old rust bucket outpaces a few photons. But when a ship is new, the engines just sing.

Hailey, here's our estimated flight path, check for any capital ships broadcasting hyperspace plans. We don't wanna be caught in their wake.
Jowmum, help me recalculate the gravity pull of the stars we'll be passing, after a couple hours, they're sure to have shifted a bit.
Boris, kick that A.I.'s butt so hard it has an identity crisis.
