Hailey grabs JM and the bike and moves them up into the cargo hold. Then she goes back for the rest of Tali's tools, pausing only briefly to look at the turned up ground. She closes the hatch and signals the all clear.

Hailey has only just shut the hatch, when she is slammed against the roof of the ship, taking 3 damage (soak has no effect here). She puts her hands up instinctively, an hears something go "pop" as her hands collide with the ceiling
Critical Injury!:
Agonizing wound: Difficulty of all brawn and agility checks increased by 1 until the end of the encounter.

Tho other PCs are also force-slammed into the roof.

Jowmum takes 1 damage when Hailey lands on top of him.

Boris hits his head rather hard, and it is now ringing. He takes 2 damage.
Critical Injury! :
Head ringer: Difficulty of all intellect and cunning checks is increased by one difficulty die until the end of the encounter.

Ami, still unconscious, takes one damage, cushioned miraculously by Boris.

Talik takes one damage.

Angry screeches are heard from outside the ship.

[It's still the skysnares' turn, and a few more have yet to make their attacks]

Hailey had barely got up from the first attack, when she is force-slammed again, taking two more damage.

A crate filled with dried meat hits Ami, dealing one more damage.

The ship trembels slightly, causing Talik to lose her balance and sprain her ankle. She takes 2 damage. She is slightly dazed by the strange, sudden, attacks.
Critical Injury!:
Slightly Dazed: At one setback die to all skill checks for the remainder of the encounter.

Ami is also slammed a second time, taking 3 more damage.

This concludes the skysnares' turn.

Skysnares:
The skysnare is a large avian creature with a wingspan of up to four meters. Its mottled, blue-white plumage gives it natural camoflage, and white feathers adorn the leading edges of its wings. Its four limbs end in powerful talons, which, along with its long, hooked beak are stark white. The creature has four deep blue eyes, two at the top of its head, and two at the bottom. This allows the skysnare to constantly survey the ground, even while flying and navigating at high speed, Skysnares are found mainly in Auratera's mountain ranges, including on the Erkeere ridge, but a small flock also lives near Acablas ruins.

Aside from their enormous size, the most frightening aspect of the skysnares that live near the ruins is their limited force ability. A skysnare can sense living creatures and potential prey while flying several hundred meters above the ground. However instead of simply diving and catching its prey, it uses the force to pull its target into the air, where it catches it with its talons. Given the creature's natural stealth and camoflage while flying, it is highly skilled at sneaking up on its prey unnoticed before yanking it into the air.

Boris mutters as he quickly straps his patient in to the bed.
"Good call captain! Now everyone strap yourself down. We are for little ride. I about to try stupid. don't try to move the ship until they leave."
Boris climbs to the highest point inside the ship and belts out Calm and sleepiness with with the force.

Hailey grumbles a few interesting phrases and helps get Ami to her bunk. She then stays to tie her down securely (mostly using the uninjured hand).

"Wadda you think you are doin' Haily?! Quit shakin' the ship like that or I'll have ta..." *Hailey lands on Jowmum* *Wookie for Idiot* "weerrr get outside and hope the engines can get us out of heEE" *Ship shakes* "Cap. to the bridge!"

Once Hailey gets a chance to get off of him, Jowmum goes and plugs into a computer port and gets a visual of the birds outside. "Whoa...." Jowmum's eye dilates is shock, and he gets the computer to rev the engines to hopefully scare the beasties away. He aborts the startup sequence when Boris says not to move the ship. Just in case, he tries to develop his idea of bouncing a recording of their mating call off a mountain or something. *Hailey and Ami leave.*

Four of the creatures fly over to one of the temples and perch on a balcony, eyeing the ship.
Boris Influence roll 1:
Since Boris is trying to calm the creatures, he can only use light side pips. On his first roll, he only got two lightside pips. One pip is used to activate the basic power, and one is used for the first control upgrade (see FAD p.206) Usually, There would also be a discpiline vs. discipline check for Boris to succeed. This time, though , I'm fudging it a bit. But in the future....
Boris Influence roll 2:
With four pips, boris can activate the basic power, the control upgrade, and two magnitude upgrades, allowing him to calm three creatures for one round
The rest continue to circle angrily.

The chaotic, angry screeches and occasional swiping of claws against the exterior of the ship abruptly comes to a halt. However, after a couple seconds, this is revealed to actually be a very bad thing.

Seven skysnares begin flying a tight circle directly above the ship.

Collective Skysnare Force Roll:
Force rules state that when more than one force sensitive creature acts in unison, force pips may be combined. The seven skysnares collectively rolled seventeen pips in their efforts to move the ship. This is more than enough to activate the strength upgrades they need.

The Aetherskiff rises, and begins to float towards a nearby ravine...

The crew of the aetherskiff does get some advantage to spend, however. And the above actions actually account for three rounds worth of time. What do you do?

Jowmum queues the startup sequence again and reverses polarity of the gravity plating below the ladder, creating a 0G pocket, so Tali can float up to the second deck. He then unplugs and heads for the droid lift.

With one injured hand, Hailey comes back to the ladder to help Tali. "I'm coming Tali! I'm -WHOA!" She jumps into the ladder shaft and falls up towards the ceiling, bonking her head slightly. "Ouch!" But this is no time to argue; she re-orients in the strange 0g and starts climbing towards the cargo bay, upside down. "Did you say you wanted to get to the cockpit or the gun?"

"Captain I don't think that you understand! We are going to be grabbed by these Avians. I am doing my best to keep as many of them busy as possible. We do not want them to know that we can move under our own power until the last possible moment. However I cannot guarantee that we can can get away from 7 telekinetic Birds! I would like a plan C just incase."
Boris also closes cracked hatch.

Talik' takes the controls just as the ship plummets sickenenly into a steep dive into the ravine. Several small trees are anhillated, and the craft shakes violently. Witj just feet to spare, Talik somehow manages to right the craft and pull up before the party meets certain doom. The skysnares are nowhere to be seen as the Aetherskiff races towards orbit (I've got your threat covered. This WAS rolled for. See chat log in Roll20).
